As much as Preakness Stakes (G1) morning-line favorite Epicenter stands as the 9-5 choice in win pool wagering May 21, some rather startling trends have arisen.
As of 3:30 p.m., the two longest shots in the morning line, Fenwick and Happy Jack , are both listed at single digit odds. Fenwick, a 50-1 morning-line offering, is 7-1 and Happy Jack, 30-1 in the morning line is 8-1.
Elsewhere Secret Oath is 9-2, Early Voting 6-1, Simplification 8-1, Skippylongstocking 8-1, Creative Minister 9-1, and Armagnac is the outsider at 18-1.
