Hip 317 works in :20 4/5, the fastest quarter mile so far during the Ocala Breeders' Sale June 2-Year-Olds in Training under tack show

A bay Collected   filly consigned as Hip 317 at the Ocala Breeders' Sales June 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale worked the fastest quarter-mile so far on the second day of the under tack show, breezing in :20 4/5 for Jesse Hoppel's Coastal Equine.

Out of the Indian Charlie daughter Sassy Ali Joy, the filly is a half sister to stakes-placed winner Tuscan Queen (Street Boss  ) and from the immediate family of grade 2-placed winner and multiple-stakes producer Banshee Winds, the dam of grade 1 winner and champion 3-year-old filly Banshee Breeze.

Six horses shared honors for the May 31 session's fastest eighth, stopping the timer in :10. They were:

  • Hip 191, a bay filly by Bolt d'Oro   consigned by Niall Brennan Stables, agent, is a half sister to graded stakes-placed winner Top of Mind and stakes-placed winner Stormy Hollday, who are out of stakes winner Over the Edge (Thunder Gulch).
  • Hip 217, is the chestnut filly Picchero, who is by freshman sire Bucchero   and out of multiple winner Pick the Double (Double Honor). She is from the immediate family of graded stakes-placed winner Sing Me Back Home and grade 2 winner Accredit. She is consigned by Nice and Easy Thoroughbreds.
  • Hip 246, a bay filly by Square Eddie  consigned by Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables, agent, is a full sister to stakes-placed winner Square Peggy, who is out of winner Puff Pastry (Momentum). The filly's third dam is Dusty Heart, who was second in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1).
  • Hip 297, consigned by Top Line Sales, agent, is a bay filly by second-crop sire Practical Joke   out of winner Ruedelarose (Street Sense  ), a full sister to stakes-placed winner Flower Mart.
  • Hip 348, a chestnut colt by first-crop sire Awesome Slew   out of stakes-placed winner Shanagarry (Greatness  ), from the family of Canadian Horse of the Year Mt. Sassafras. He is consigned by All Dreams Equine.
  • Hip 359, consigned by Scanlon Training & Sales, agent, is a bay filly by second-crop sire Greenpointcrusader   out of She's Kissable (Montbrook), a half sister to graded-stakes winner Wall Street Wonder and stakes winner Coastal Sunrise.

Two worked a quarter in :21.

  • Hip 209, a chestnut filly named Nancylovestheduke, who is consigned by Coastal Equine, agent. She is an Overanalyze  half sister to stakes-placed winner Tommy the Torch out of the Indian Charlie daughter Peace Queen, a half sister to multiple graded-stakes winner Tizaqueena.
  • Hip 269, consigned by Little Horse, is a gray or roan colt by Verrazano  out of Reggae Song (Speightstown  ), who is a daughter of stakes winner Queen of Song.

Hip 224 turned in the session's only quarter in :21 1/5. Consigned by Hoppel's Horse & Cattle, he's a gray or roan colt by Fast Anna  out of Pliant (Maria's Mon), a daughter of stakes winner Graceful Cat.
