An Army Mule filly consigned as Hip 437 works a quarter-mile in :20 2/5 at the OBS June Sale

Under a sunny, warm sky, Day 3 of the under tack preview for the Ocala Breeders' Sales' June Sale of 2-Year-Olds and Horses of Racing Age saw one filly by Army Mule   turn in the fastest time after speeding a quarter-mile in :20 2/5 for consignor Fast Horses.

The gray or roan filly consigned as Hip 437 is out of the unraced Super Saver   mare Super Holiday, who comes from the family of graded stakes winner Double Honor . Fast Horses sent the juvenile through the OBS ring at the Spring Sale but failed to change hands at $95,000. During the April under tack show, the filly turned in a blistering eighth-mile in :09 4/5. Bred in Florida by Teresa Davis and Albert Davis she is the second foal from Super Holiday.

Consignor Julie Davies saw her filly by Flatter   lay down the fastest eighth-mile clocked on Day 3 going in :09 4/5. Out of Wicked Ride, by Candy Ride  , the gray filly is from the female family of 2010 Darley Alcibiades Stakes (G1) winner Wickedly Perfect . Also a winner in the Sorrento Stakes (G3) and placed in the Darley Debutante Stakes (G1), Wickedly Perfect is an OBS Spring Sale graduate, selling for $70,000 in 2010 to Dennis O'Neill from Niall Brennan Stables, agent.

Wednesday saw eight juveniles breeze a quarter-mile in :21 2/5, by sires: Always Dreaming   (Hip 549), Commissioner  (Hip 386), Empire Maker  (Hip 473), Jess's Dream   (Hip 383), Jimmy Creed   (Hip 510), Munnings   (Hips 400 and 492), and The Big Beast   (Hip 468).

Six individuals turned in a bullet furlong in :10 flat, by: Bolt d'Oro   (Hips 463 and 512), Hit It a Bomb   (Hip 541), Kantharos   (Hip 422), Klimt   (Hip 547), and Uncle Mo   (Hip 525).

The Under Tack Show continues Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. ET with Hips 562 - 748 scheduled to breeze, streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com, and also via BloodHorse. The breeze show will continue through June 4.

The first of three days of selling begins June 7 at 10:00 a.m. with Hips 1 - 374 scheduled to go under the hammer, followed by Hips 375 - 748 June 8, with Hips 749 - 1167 June 9.
