Agent Donato Lanni purchased the top-priced juveniles of the day: the filly by Uncle Mo   consigned as Hip 525, and a $625,000 filly offered as Hip 560 by the late Flatter  —both purchases for separate non-disclosed clients.

Omar Ramirez Bloodstock sold Hip 525, a $117,000 pinhook sourced from the Paramount Sales draft at last season's Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Yearling Sale, hitting it out of the park for the home team. The Kentucky-bred filly is out of Ultralight Beam, a half sibling to multiple grade 3 winner His Race to Win , and from the family of multiple graded winner El Tormenta  and to graded stakes winner Zero Tolerance .

Last week, the precocious bay breezed a bullet during the under tack show. In his second year selling at public auction, Ramirez recorded Day 2 as the leading consignor after selling nine horses for final figures of $911,500.

Lanni led Day 2 as the leading buyer by gross ($1,350,000) with his two purchases destined for trainer Bob Baffert on the West Coast.
