Derby Radio Coverage Begins April 28

Horse Racing Radio Network, the exclusive radio home of the 141st Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and the 2015 Triple Crown, will launch more than 20 hours of Kentucky Derby week programming on Tuesday, April 28.



The coverage begins with the KTA-KTOB Kentucky Derby Trainers Dinner from 7:30-9:30 p.m. ET.



HRRN continues their on-site coverage Wednesday morning with the "Derby Countdown Show" live from the Churchill Downs backside. The show can be heard from 8-10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday mornings on affiliates across the country and is streamed live and podcast on the HRRN website, www.horseracingradio.net.



HRRN will also feature live coverage of the Kentucky Derby post position draw Wednesday from 5-6 p.m.



Live race coverage begins Friday, May 1, as HRRN hosts a three-hour Kentucky Oaks broadcast from 3-6 p.m. before returning Saturday with coverage of the Derby day under-card stakes from 2-5 p.m. and coverage of the Derby from 5-7 p.m. n partnership with NBC Sports.



Derby morning begins with a special Kentucky Derby edition of HRRN's weekly talk show "The Equine Forum" from 8-10 a.m. Listeners can tune in to the Equine Forum on SiriusXM channel 92 and on affiliates across the country.



All Derby week broadcasts will be available on affiliates throughout the country as well as on SiriusXM satellite radio and streamed worldwide on the HRRN website. Streaming can also be accessed on mobile phones and tablets by clicking the "Listen Live" button on the HRRN home page.
