As the crowd filters into Belmont Park, so too does the win money on the $1.5 million Belmont Stakes Presented by NYRA Bets (G1).
With about $1.02 million in the pool as of 10 a.m. June 11, Mo Donegal was the 5-2 favorite with Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) winner Rich Strike next at 7-2.
The filly Nest was 4-1 with We the People —the 2-1 morning-line favorite—at 5-1.
The rest of the odds were Skippylongstocking 9-1, Creative Minister 8-1, Golden Glider 13-1, and Barber Road 8-1.
As of 10 a.m. June 11, there were no scratches from the stakes races. In the Resorts World Casino Manhattan Stakes (G1T), jockey Jose Ortiz picks up the mount on Tokyo Gold from Cristian Demuro.
