Globe-trotting Casa Creed returned to Belmont Park and defended his title in the June 11 $400,000 Jaipur Stakes (G1T) with a thrilling victory over Arrest Me Red and True Valour .
Owned by LRE Racing and JEH Racing Stable, Casa Creed hugged the rail in fourth position early as True Valour and Arrest Me Red sped to the front, laying down a :22.36 opening quarter. Arrest Me Red inched to a narrow advantage into the lane as Casa Creed, full of run on the fence, was tipped three wide by Luis Saez in deep stretch to surge past his foes in the shadow of the wire.
Arrest Me Red held second over True Valour.
Trained by Bill Mott, Casa Creed zipped the six-furlongs on a firm turf course in 1:07.44.
The 6-year-old son of Jimmy Creed became only the second back-to-back winner of the Jaipur, following Disco Partner in 2017 and 2018.
