There was no catching Tribhuvan in the Manhattan Stakes at Belmont Park

With Irad Ortiz Jr. showing the way, front-running Tribhuvan  opened a big advantage through six furlongs of the Resorts World Casino Manhattan Stakes (G1T) June 11 on the inner turf at Belmont Park and was never seriously challenged in the stretch to score by 3 1/2 lengths.

Trained by Chad Brown and campaigned by Michael Dubb, Wonder Stables, Madaket Stables, and Michael Caruso, Tribhuvan completed the 1 1/4-mile test in 1:59.54 on the firm turf. He was followed home by Adhamo  and Gufo .

Tribhuvan returned $40.20 to win.
