Storm Washes Away Texas Mile at Lone Star
Description:
The final eight races at Lone Star Park April 24 were canceled, including the $200,000 Texas Mile (gr. III), because of inclement weather that led to unsafe track conditions.
After the first race was completed at the Grand Prairie, Texas track, heavy storms washed away the rest of the Friday-night card.
The Texas Mile has been rescheduled for May 1.
