Vigilantes Way wins the 2021 Miss Liberty Stakes at Monmouth Park

Vigilantes Way  returns to Monmouth Park June 18 to defend her title in the $150,000 Eatontown Stakes (G3T), a 1 1/16-mile course for fillies and mares 3 and up.

Vigilantes Way is no stranger to Monmouth Park, having run four of her last five races there, dating back to last year's Eatontown Stakes. She's 6-4-3 in 16 career starts but has never finished worse than second on the Jersey track. Last time out, she finished second in the May 30 Miss Liberty Stakes to fellow Eatontown contender, Whimsical Muse .

Others to watch include Lemista , Fluffy Socks , and Princess Grace , who hasn't started since finished third by 3 1/2 lengths in the 2021 Matriarch Stakes (G1T) last November at Del Mar.

Meanwhile, the 1 1/8-mile $150,000 Monmouth Stakes (G3T) serves as the penultimate race Saturday at the track.

Among those taking to the turf is Tax , a multiple graded stakes winner, who enters off a significant layoff, idle since a disappointing finish in the 2021 Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1). Also eyeing a graded stakes win is Hidden Stash . The Vicki Oliver-trained colt has hit the board in all but four of his 13 career starts. His record is highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 2021 Lambholm South Tampa Bay Derby (G2).

Klaravich Stables' Public Sector  looks to return to his winning ways having posted fourth and sixth in two grade 1 stakes after winning three graded stakes in a row.
