After issues loading at the starting gate, Musicmansandy ran smoothly to cross the wire first in a five-furlong maiden weight special race June 22 at Delaware Park, breaking her maiden on first asking and handing Accelerate his first winner.
Trained by Rudy Rodriguez, the 2-year-old filly left the gate in fourth, moving into leading position by the three-sixteenths pole. Under Jose Gomez, the filly dominated throughout the race until finishing 4 1/2 lengths in front of runner-up Fancee Grace C in a final time of :58.96 for Michael Dubb and Morris Bailey.
