Godolphin's recent $200,000 Westchester Stakes (G3) winner Cody's Wish tops a field of seven colts and geldings that were entered in the July 4 $175,000 Hanshin Stakes Presented by JRA at Churchill Downs.
The Hanshin is one of three stakes events carded on Monday's closing day program. The Hanshin will share the spotlight with the $175,000 Bashford Manor and $175,000 Debutante.
Trained by Bill Mott, Cody's Wish cruised to a five-length victory in the Westchester under jockey Junior Alvarado. The son of Curlin is a perfect 3-for-3 at Churchill Downs where he broke his maiden and won two allowance events as a 3-year-old. Alvarado will ride from post 7.

So far in 2022, Plainsman's résumé includes a victory in the $600,000 Razorback Handicap (G3) and a runner-up finish in the $500,000 Essex Handicap (G3).
Ricardo Santana Jr. will have the mount and break from post 6.
