Trainer Chad Brown said July 15 he is leaning toward running Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Early Voting  in the $600,000 Jim Dandy Stakes (G2) at Saratoga Race Course in the 3-year-old's first start since his victory in the middle jewel of the Triple Crown.

The $1 million TVG.com Haskell Stakes (G1) is also a possibility for Early Voting, a son of Gun Runner  . Brown also trains multiple grade 1 winner Jack Christopher , who is the likely favorite for the July 23 Haskell at Monmouth Park.

Brown said he will make his final decision on the next race for his grade 1-winning 3-year-olds, which includes Jim Dandy candidate and Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) third-place finisher Zandon , after their final works this weekend.

"I want to see how they work and make sure I am represented in the (Haskell and Jim Dandy)," he said.
