Be sure to watch the race replays, provided below, of the major prep races for the Kentucky Derby and try to identify which horses have the best chance to make an impact on May 2 at Churchill Downs.
2015 Arkansas Derby

American Pharoah rolled to a dominant victory in his final prep race for the Kentucky Derby. The Zayat Stables runner improved to two wins in as many starts this year for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert. His Arkansas Derby victory was as visually impressive a prep race as you will see from a Kentucky Derby hopeful.

2015 Blue Grass Stakes

Carpe Diem punched his ticket to the Kentucky Derby with a powerhouse, three-length win in the 2015 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland Race Course on April 4.

2015 Santa Anita Derby

Kentucky Derby hopeful Dortmund dominated the competition in the Santa Anita Derby on April 4 at Santa Anita Park for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert.

2015 Wood Memorial Stakes

Frosted emerged as a top contender for the Kentucky Derby with a victory on April 4 in the Grade 1, $1-million Wood Memorial Stakes at Aqueduct.

2015 Louisiana Derby

International Star completed a sweep of the three major Kentucky Derby prep races at Fair Grounds with a hard-fought victory over Stanford in the Louisiana Derby on March 28.

2015 Florida Derby

Materiality outlasted Upstart to prevail in the Florida Derby on March 28 at Gulfstream Park. Materiality will enter the 2015 Kentucky Derby undefeated.

2015 Sunland Derby

Firing Line, twice a close runner-up to top Kentucky Derby hopeful Dortmund, coasted to a runaway win in the Sunland Derby on March 22 at Sunland Park.
