Nations Pride scores under William Buick in the Saratoga Derby Invitational Stakes at Saratoga Race Course
Charlie Appleby trainee Nations Pride rallied to win the Aug. 6 Caesars Saratoga Derby Invitational Stakes (G1T) at Saratoga Race Course.
Annapolis was second and Caesars Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1T) winner Classic Causeway faded to third.
Under William Buick, the 3-year-old Teofilo colt owned by Godolphin paid $6.20 on a $2 win ticket. He raced 1 3 /16 miles on turf in 1:54.72
