Back-to-Back Seven-Figure Curlin Yearlings, One For $2M

The Curlin filly consigned as Hip 126 in the ring at The Saratoga Sale

Two Curlin   yearlings sold back-to-back for high seven-figure prices during Day Two of The Saratoga Sale, Fasig-Tipton's select yearling sale in Saratoga Spring, N.Y.

A filly (Hip 126) became the first yearling to reach $2 million and was bought by West Point Thoroughbreds, Woodford Racing, and 3C Stable. She was bred by celebrity chef Bobby Flay out of grade 1-placed, grade 3 winner America  and was consigned by Stone Farm.

Immediately following the filly was a $1.75 million Curlin colt (Hip 127) out of grade 1 winner Angela Renee  that was purchased by agent Mike Ryan for a partnership. The colt was bred by Don Alberto in Kentucky and consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency.
