Arqana August Online Catalog Available

On Friday, Aug. 26, ARQANA Online will hold the first edition of the August Online Sale. Now available, the catalog is made up of five horses-in-training that have produced eye-catching recent performances, as well as a mare and a filly out of training. Bidding will begin at 3 p.m. (French time) and finish at 5 p.m.

Of the horses-in-training, Jerome Reynier will offer Tornadic as Lot 1. The very consistent 4-year-old son of Toronado , with a current rating of 95, has won three times this season over 1,600 meters and most recently finished runner-up at Deauville. He is offered with his entry in the Prix Quincey (G3).

Winner of the Fritz Henkel Stiftung-Rennen (G3) at the beginning of the month following a third place in the Grosser Preis des Wirtschaft (G3) for Peter Schiergen, Sahib's Joy  will be offered as Lot 2. Listed winner and placed in the Dortmund Grand Prix (G3) last season, the son of Soldier Hollow  is out of a sister to John Deere Breeders' Cup Turf (G1T) scorer Shirocco .

Jean-Claude Rouget will offer two horses, including the 3-year-old gelding Viatore (Lot 3). Winner on his debut and a winner of his most recent start over 1,900 meters, only his third outing, the son of Siyouni  with a current rating of 91 is out of group-placed Via Manzoni, that has also produced listed winner Integrant.

He will be joined by Sudaf (Lot 4), third on her debut and winner on his last start over 1,400 meters. The 3-year-old daughter of War Front   out of Bayakoa Stakes (G3) scorer Mufajaah is from the family of group winners Carolyn's Cat, People's Princess, and Meadow Flight.

After opening his winning account over 2,700 meters on his second start, the Alain Couetil-trained Joie de Reves is Lot 5. The 3-year-old AQPS gelding by Magneticjim is from the family of National Hunt group/graded winners Quarouso and So Young.

On the breeding side, Tim Donworth will offer Bellport (Lot 6), a winning half sister to group 2 scorer Angel Power. The 3-year-old daughter of Bated Breath  is from the excellent German family of group 1 winners Borgia and Boreal.

Finally, Firenza Bella is Lot 7. Offered in foal to Goliath Du Berlais by Haras de la Vastine, the half sister to the excellent Gaillard Du Mesnil is from the family of grade 1 winner Soldatino.
