Northview Stallion Station's freshman sire Hoppertunity   was represented by his first winner Aug. 22 when his son Game Seven  won his racing debut by five lengths at Parx Racing.

Bred in Pennsylvania by Best A Luck Farm, Game Seven is out of the winning Eurosilver  mare Quality Silver , who is a half sister to Eclipse champion female sprinter Shamrock Rose  (First Dude  ). The mare has now produced five winners from as many to race. She has a yearling colt by Airoforce   and was bred this year to Uncle Vinny  .

Owners Bregman Family Racing, of Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman, and Jackpot Farm bought Game Seven for $130,000 at this year's Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-Year-Olds in Training Sale out of Best A Luck Farm's consignment. The colt began working regularly at Saratoga Race Course starting June 21 for trainer Todd Pletcher.

Game Seven was among four horses Pletcher entered Aug. 22 at Parx, which carded four $60,000 maiden special weights along with seven $100,000 stakes. The colt won gate to wire as the 2-5 favorite and stopped the timer in 1:06.07 under jockey Irad Oritz Jr.

Hoppertunity is an 11-year-old son of Any Given Saturday and an eight-time graded stakes winner, whose top performances came in the 2014 Clark Handicap (G1) and 2016 Jockey Club Gold Cup Stakes (G1). He retired with a 9-8-5 record from 34 starts and earned $4,712,625. He stood this year at Northview for $5,000.
