Tattersalls Online Monthly Sale Dates Confirmed

Tattersalls Online announced sale dates for the remainder of 2022, with sales scheduled to take place monthly until the end of the year. Building on the success of the Tattersalls Online platform since its establishment in 2020, Tattersalls has committed to staging monthly sales as well as offering bespoke online auctions. With dates confirmed for the remainder of 2022, the Tattersalls group intends to make monthly Tattersalls Online sales a permanent fixture of the sales calendar.

The Tattersalls Online monthly sales are open to all types of thoroughbred entries and are a proven low-cost alternative to traditional sales. The platform has been embraced by both vendors and buyers, who have been attracted to its simplicity and ease of use. Highlights over the past two years have included the sale of group 3 winning filly West End Girl  for £420,000 (approx. US$491,035) and the sale of Classical Wave, who realized 240,000 guineas (approx. $294,621) to Bahraini interests. Subsequent Australian dual group 3 winner Great House sold for £175,000 (approx. $204,598) on the platform, and National Hunt mare Barbados Blue realized 90,000 guineas (approx. $110,483) at the most recent Tattersalls Online sale. 

The 2022 Tattersalls Online December Sale will target entries from the National Hunt and Point-to-Point fraternity following the success of the National Hunt & Point-to-Point Online Sale in December 2021, which saw six horses realize an aggregate of 940,000 guineas (approx. $1,153,931), with top prices of 350,000 guineas (approx. $429,655), 260,000 guineas (approx. $319,172), and 250,000 guineas (approx. $306,897).  

Tattersalls' commitment to expanding the Online Sales market has been further advanced by the establishment of a dedicated online sales team led by Katherine Sheridan as Online Sales executive and Eliza Quinn as Online Sales and Marketing coordinator.
