Highfield Princess wins the Nunthorpe Stakes at York

Highfield Princess , who gave The Platinum Queen 24 pounds and a 2 1/2-length beating in the Aug. 19 Coolmore Wootton Bassett Nunthorpe Stakes (G1) could be tough to beat in the Sept. 11 Al Basti Equiworld Dubai Flying Five Stakes (G1).

However, it's possible a busy recent schedule could catch up with the Arc Prix Maurice de Gheest (G1) heroine, who faces her third group 1 assignment in a third different country in five weeks.

Reverting to this trip saw the 5-year-old deliver a clear career-best at York 23 days ago.

Trainer John Quinn said: "We were very happy with how she came out of York, but there are a lot of runners, and it's a group 1, which is never easy. It's going to be tough with a lot of horses in there with soft ground form, but she's in good shape, and we'll give it another go."

Last year's winner Romantic Proposal  is highly effective at the Curragh, while runner-up A Case Of You  has been trained to peak in the autumn. A Case Of You took the Al Quoz Sprint Sponsored By Azizi Developments (G1) in Dubai three starts back.

"It's his first start over five furlongs when finishing second in this race last year, and we're happy with him going back there again," trainer Ado McGuinness said. "He hasn't run since June, but he's been away for two good racecourse gallops, and he's going there in good nick."
