Trainer David Jacobson will have an opportunity to set the single-season record for New York Racing Association wins on the final weekend of the season.

Jacobston tied the circuit record Thursday, Dec. 26 when he saddled three winners at Aqueduct Racetrack in Notmyfirsttime, Moments Notiz, and Force Multiplier, who gave Jacobson the record-tying 159th victory of the season. Jacobson, 59, tied the record set in 2007 by Gary Contessa.

On Dec. 27, Jacobson has entered Tiz Gianna in the seventh race at Aqueduct, where he also has Hailstone as an also-eligible. On Saturday, Dec. 28 Jacobson has horses entered in all but two of Aqueduct's nine races, including the 8-5 morning-line favorite in the first race of the entry of Ground Force and Be Bullish as well as the 3-1 morning-line favorite in the final race of the entry Silent Thunder and also-eligible Minnie Punt

Jacobson has 11 horses entered at Aqueduct on Sunday, Jan. 29.

With four racing days left in 2013, Jacobson currently leads the Big A's inner-track meet standings with 18 wins. He has already clinched his second straight training title on the NYRA circuit, after topping last year's standings with 110 victories.
