Three horses tuned up for upcoming Breeders' Cup races at Keeneland with workouts Oct. 29 at Churchill Downs, topped by a bullet breeze from Cyberknife , a likely Big Ass Fans Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1) participant, who went five furlongs in :59.
Gold Square's Cyberknife, twice victorious in top-level stakes this year in the TVG.com Haskell Stakes (G1) and Arkansas Derby (G1) this year, is also pre-entered in the Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (G1), though the Dirt Mile is the current preference of trainer Brad Cox. Entries are due Oct. 31 and post positions will be drawn that afternoon.
Cyberknife, a 3-year-old son of Gun Runner, worked under Florent Geroux, who has the mount in the Dirt Mile. He settled a little behind workmate Forza Di Oro on that one's outside, pulled on near-even terms approaching the wire, and inched ahead while appearing to work a furlong past the finish line. Forza Di Oro was credited with a time of :59 2/5 by track clockers.

Another Cox trainee and Breeders' Cup pre-entrant, Frank Fletcher Racing Operations and Ten Strike Racing's Lady Rocket , prepped for the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) with a five-furlong breeze in 1:00 3/5 in tandem with Girl With a Dream a short time later during the early morning hours. Geroux was also aboard Lady Rocket, and her work was similar to that of Cyberknife, with the mare initially placed just to the outside of a workmate before she asserted her superiority.
"They both breezed really good," said Geroux. "They're good work horses. They just did what they were supposed to do."
Geroux rides Cyberknife in the Dirt Mile but has the mount on another horse, the Todd Fincher-trained Slammed in the Filly & Mare Sprint.
Asked about his thoughts on Cyberknife racing in the Dirt Mile, he said: "It's a little bit easier than it is in the Classic, for sure."
The Bill Mott-trained Casa Creed was the last of the trio to breeze, covering four furlongs in:47 4/5 under exercise rider Duelser Cardona while in company with stablemate Mount Craig . He led early, took some planned pressure that was amped up down the stretch, and traveled smoothly to the finish.

LRE Racing and JEH Racing Stable's Casa Creed is pre-entered in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint (G1T).
The Turf Sprint, Dirt Mile, and Filly & Mare Sprint will all be run Nov. 5 on the second of two Breeders' Cup cards.
