Only two of the five Breeders' Cup races on Future Star Friday have scratches from the body of the field.

Frank Fletcher Racing Operations' American Rockette  is out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1), race 7, and Madaket Stables' G Laurie  is scratched from race 8, the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf (G1T). The latter's scratch allows the first also-eligible Bling , owned by G. Watts Humphrey Jr., to draw into the field for trainer Vicki Oliver.

All the other Breeders' Cup horses not in competition Friday are also eligibles.

Conditions are perfect today with sunny skies and an unseasonably warm high temperature forecast set to reach 77 degrees. The main track is fast, and the turf is expected to be firm. The Central Kentucky area received much-needed rain Oct. 30-31 following a long dry spell.

The inner portion of the turf course shows noticeably less wear than the middle portion. With the inner rail placed out during the recently competed fall meet, the inside was preserved for the Breeders' Cup.
