Midnight Bisou in the ring at the Keeneland November Sale
Late in the day, Katsumi Yoshida went to $5.5 million to land the champion mare Midnight Bisou , who topped the opening session at the Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale Nov. 7 in Lexington.
Offered in foal to multiple leading sire Tapit , sire of this year's brilliant Longines Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) victor Flightline , Midnight Bisou was consigned as Hip 235 by Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa. The daughter of Midnight Lute earned more than $7.4 million in a career where she captured five grade 1 races.
