Northeast Tracks Cancel as Storm Approaches

Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course has canceled live racing the evening of Jan. 2 as a winter storm zeroes in on the central Pennsylvania area.
Penn National officials said live racing is scheduled to resume Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. EST.
The New York Racing Association has also canceled live racing at Aqueduct Racetrack for Friday, Jan. 3, when the storm is slated to hit New York.
A decision on whether Aqueduct and the Belmont Café will be open for simulcasting will be made early Friday morning.
Aqueduct raced Thursday and live racing is expected to resume as scheduled Saturday, Jan. 4.
