The Emirates Racing Authority is partnering with Weatherbys to transform its digital infrastructure to improve the logistics of managing horse racing for participants and improving the experience for fans.
The Emirates Racing Authority is recognized as one of horse racing's pre-eminent governing bodies overseeing a world-leading race program and infrastructure within the United Arab Emirates. Racing in the UAE has for many years played a major part in the sport's global calendar with so many of its horses performing at the highest level on the world stage.
In keeping with the profile and influence of its racing both domestically and internationally, the ERA are looking to revolutionize its tech, digital, and data capabilities through a partnership with Weatherbys to develop and deploy a world-leading Cloud-based platform that will utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms.
The Weatherbys Cloud solution will be designed to position data at the center of the ERA's digital strategy in a way that creates operational efficiencies as well as elevating and enhancing the customer journey. This will be done through engagement with the platform across multiple devices thereby generating new and mutually beneficial partnership for growth.
The ERA have a clear vision to provide for the well-being of horses in and out of competition and as part of the digital transformation program the Weatherbys ePassport will play an important part by ensuring that the health, welfare, and traceability of all horses are continuously monitored. The system will be configured on a secure central data model, providing seamless management operations, stakeholder engagement, and distribution of data.
The new Digital Platform will make it significantly easier to generate valuable insights from data, deploy rich applications, create powerful workflows, automation, and leverage AI across all stakeholders and administration activities such as:
