Description:

An exceptionally busy period for Park Paddocks kicks off with the Tattersalls December Yearling Sale Nov. 21, an event that has produced luminaries such as Darley Irish and Yorkshire Oaks (G1) heroine Sea of Class  and Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud (G1) winner Broome

The latter, a son of Australia , has since added this season's Hardwicke Stakes (G2) to his CV, while other group-winning graduates in 2022 include Prix Fille de l'Air (G3) scorer Via Sistina —picked up for just 5,000gns (US$6,751) by Stephen Hillen Bloodstock from Jamie Railton in 2019—and Premio Carlo d'Alessio (G3) winner Atzeco .

Another recent black type-winning graduate, Bipartisanship , took the Kathryn Crosby Stakes on the turf at Del Mar this month. The daughter of Bated Breath  sold from New England Stud to McKeever Bloodstock for 40,000gns ($54,006) in 2019.

As for the potential standout lots in this year's sale, Glenvale Stud offers the only lot in the catalog by Frankel  (Lot 178), a half brother to two black-type winners, namely Jebel Ali Racecourse & Stables Anglesey Stakes (G3) scorer Peace Envoy  and dual Scandinavian group winner Our Last Summer

There is also one offering by champion sire-elect Dubawi  in Shadwell's colt (Lot 154) out of Sky Bet City of York Stakes winner Fadhayyil , a half brother to Australian group 2 scorer Turaath. Newsells Park Stud's Kingman  colt (Lot 57) out of an unraced sister to Keeneland Phoenix Stakes (G1) winner Pedro the Great  and half sister to Footstepsinthesand  also looks a major attraction.

Red-hot first-season sires Sioux Nation  and Havana Grey  are represented by three and two lots, respectively. Sioux Nation's progeny includes The National Stud's half brother (Lot 26) to the group-placed Sussex Garden  and from the family of the great Attraction  and Sky Bet York Stakes (G2) winner and Juddmonte International (G1) third Elarqam

Havana Grey's duo includes Childwickbury Stud's colt (Lot 34) out of the Exceed And Excel  mare Mosa Mine and from the family of Darley July Cup (G1) and Prix Maurice de Gheest (G1) winner Anabaa.

The Castlebridge Consignment sells a colt (Lot 6) by top juvenile sire No Nay Never , an April-born youngster who is out of an unraced Galileo full-sister to Belmont Derby Invitational Stakes (G1T) winner Deauville . The same consignor offers a filly by Cheveley Park Stud-winning sire Zoustar  (Lot 170) out of a winning Oasis Dream  half sister to the smart Lily's Angel

Gestut Fahrhof offers a trio of smartly bred sorts, including a Sea The Stars  colt out of the listed-winning Siyouni  mare Sequilla  (Lot 69) and a Too Darn Hot  filly out of Henkel German Oaks (G1) third Amona  (Lot 108).
