Taiba gave trainer Bob Baffert yet another win Dec. 26 at Santa Anita Park when he soared home for a dominant score in the $300,000 Runhappy Malibu Stakes (G1).
Under Mike Smith, the 3-year-old son of Gun Runner took the seven furlongs in 1:21.75. He paid $2.80 for the win.
Forbidden Kingdom was second with Hoist the Gold in third.
