Horse Racing Radio Network, the official radio home of the 2015 Triple Crown, and TVG will provide on-site coverage from Pimlico Race Course in Maryland the week of the May 16 Xpressbet.com Preakness Stakes (gr. I).
HRRN will offer a two-hour broadcast Saturday from 5-7 p.m. EDT produced in partnership with NBC Sports and Westwood One. NBC Sports will broadcast the Preakness Stakes on NBC from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
HRRN May 16 will host the "Equine Forum" from 8-10 a.m., followed by five hours of Preakness day coverage from 2-7 p.m.
Preakness week coverage begins May 12 at 4 p.m. with a special one-hour presentation exploring the history of the Maryland Thoroughbred industry followed by live coverage of the Preakness post-position draw from 5-6 p.m. Both shows are presented by the Maryland Horse Breeders Association.
At 6 p.m. May 13, HRRN's "Trainer Talk show presented by Fasig-Tipton" will feature a conversation with 2015 Hall of Fame inductee King Leatherbury, who is based in Maryland.
HRRN May 15 will have live coverage of the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes (gr. II) at 4 p.m. followed by the "Xpressbet Weekend Stakes Preview Show" from 6-7 p.m.
The programs May 13 and May 15 can be heard on Sirius 220/XM 206; the May 16 programs are available at Sirius 92/XM 92. Live streaming both days is available at www.horseracingradio.net.
TVG will begin its on-site coverage of from Pimlico beginning May 14. All Preakness-related coverage will also air on HRTV; one or both networks regularly provide daily coverage from Pimlico.
TVG and HRTV also will present the results of the Preakness post-position draw at 6 p.m. May 13.
On May 15 at 8 p.m. TVG will air the "Preakness Handicappers Preview" with commentary from hosts and handicappers on-site and at its California studio.
