Sweetontheladies is an 8-year-old son of Twirling Candy —Whataclassybroad , by Yankee Gentleman . Showing speed and precocity from an early age, Sweetontheladies won his first two races and captured the Juvenile Sprint Stakes at Gulfstream Park West in his fourth start. Racing mainly on the Southern Florida circuit, Sweetontheladies went on to take the Crystal River Handicap at Gulfstream Park as a 3-year-old before campaigning through the age of 6. He earned grade 1 black type in running third in Saratoga Race Course's Alfred G. Vanderbilt Stakes (G1) in 2018 in addition to graded stakes showings in the 2018 Smile Sprint Stakes (G3), two editions of the Gulfstream Park Sprint Stakes (G3) in 2018-19, and the 2018 Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash Stakes (G3).
