West Will Power wins the 2022 Fayette Stakes at Keeneland

The Feb. 18 $600,000 Razorback Handicap (G3) at Oaklawn Park features a deep field of 10 4-year-olds and up that includes a trio of millionaires on the 1 1/16-mile course.

The most accomplished entrant is Danny Caldwell's Rated R Superstar . The 10-year-old gelding by Kodiak Kowboy  is trained by Martin Villafranco and has $1,794,930 in earnings on a 13-10-9 mark from 66 starts—32 more starts than his nearest competitor in the Razorback.

“It is tougher than the other race,” Caldwell said. “I do, when I handicap the race, see a lot of speed. Of course, we get that extra sixteenth and a longer stretch, which makes a huge difference for us.”

But the bank statements of Rated R Superstar, Last Samurai  ($1,241,039), and Long Range Toddy  ($1,185,670) won't deter several competitors who arrive at Oaklawn on hot streaks.

Brad Cox, who trained last year's Razorback winner Plainsman  , returns with Gary and Mary West's West Will Power . The son of Bernadini rarely misses the board with a 5-6-0 record from 13 starts. He is also coming off his first grade 1, a second-place effort in the Clark Stakes (G1).

"Looks like a good spot to get him going," Cox said. "Hopefully, he gets a good trip and he should be tough. He's doing really, really well. The last few works have been phenomenal at the Fair Grounds. Looking forward to getting him started this year."

Another who looks to build on recent success is Ginobili .

The Munnings   gelding, owned by Slam Dunk Racing, Jerry McClanahan, and Michael Nentwig, has finished in the top two in five of his last six outings, including a win in the Pat O'Brien Stakes (G2) and a second in the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile (G1).

"He's training super, really training well," trainer Peter Miller said. "We're looking forward to it. It's a tougher race. He's got a lot of speed, but he doesn't need the lead. So, we can kind of let Ricardo (Santana Jr.) play it the way it comes up. If someone goes crazy, we'll sit. If we get an easy lead, we'll take it. He's just a really, really good horse. Training really, really well, like he did for the last one."

One of the youngest entrants, Dan Agnew and MyRacehorse's Hero Status , gets his first stakes action Saturday. With all eight of his races coming in California, the 4-year-old Flatter  colt makes the move east with a 3-3-1 record.

Rounding out the field are Caddo River , Keystone Field , Law Professor , and Trademark .
