Campbell has won 97 stakes, among them 20 graded stakes. His most lucrative victory to date came in 2013 in the $1 million Queen's Plate Stakes aboard Midnight Aria.

An emotional Campbell was moved by Monday's milestone victory.

"It's been a long time coming. There was a time I didn't think I'd get there," said Campbell. "It's been a lot of trips around the track and it means a lot for it to happen here at Woodbine. It's been a special chapter of my career coming here."

Campbell won his first career race at Arlington Park on July 20, 1995, aboard Apostle Island, who was trained by his father, Mike Campbell, and bred by his grandfather. He began riding full time the following year and was the leading apprentice at Hawthorne Race Course.
