Osarus La Teste Breeze Up Catalog Now Online

The 2023 Osarus Breeze Uup sale will take place April 26-27 of April at La Teste Racecourse in the southwest of France. The catalog, comprised of 68 2-year-olds, is now online and can be viewed at www.osarus.com.

Forty-eight sires are represented in the catalog, including Acclamation , Adaay Belardo , Buratino , Cable Bay , Caravaggio Cotai Glory , Dark Angel , Dream Ahead , Due Diligence Ectot , El Kabeir , Elzaam , Estidhkaar Goken , Intello , Ivawood , Kendargent Kheleyf , Kodi Bear , Kuroshio Mehmas , Mondialiste , Night of Thunder Profitable , Ruler of The World Style Vendome , Territories Zelzal , young sires such as Al Wukair Expert Eye , Seabhac , Seahenge , Shalaa , Sioux Nation , Unfortunately , as well as first-season sires with their first-crop of 2-year-olds City Light , Inns of Court , Magna Grecia , Marmelo , and Taj Mahal 

Twenty-five consignors will be present at La Teste, including Hyde Park Stud, who will offer 18 Lots. Winners from Hyde Park Studs' 2021 and 2022 contingents include Samedi Rien , recently placed in the Cape Verdi Stakes (G2) at Meydan, and Sister of Love, winner at Chantilly March 15.

  • Lot 2, a filly by Seabhac, half sister to eight-time winner Avenue de France  (2022 John C. Mabee Stakes-G2T)
  • Lot 46, a Territories filly, half sister to Goldberry  (Holiday Inaugural Stakes)
  • Lot 47 a Cotai Glory filly out of Hasty  (Third in the Oh So Sharp Stakes G3), half sister to 3 2-year-old winners including Festina Plente  (Third in the Cooley Stakes)

Woodbine Mile-G1T and earnings of $1,830,660).

Haras du Bocage has three Lots cataloged including Lot 11, a Shalaa colt out of a winning mare. The colt is a grandson of White Rose  (Prix Miesque-G3 and second in the Diana Deutsches Stuten Derby-G1).

  • Lot 3, a colt by Unfortunately (who had his first black-type winner at Chantilly March 21) out of an Invincible Spirit mare
  • Lot 8, a colt by Sir Percy (GB), half brother to Consolida  (winner of the California Oaks)
  • Lot 9, a Dark Angel colt out of a full-sister to Prix Marcel Boussac (G1) winner and Prix de Diane (G1) runner-up Rosanara 
  • Lot 10, a City Light colt out of Sans Retenue (two previous foals of racing age, two winners)
  • Lot 17, an Al Wukair filly from the family of Prix Morny (G1) winner Perfect Power  as well as Sagamix , Sagacity , and Sageburg 
  • Lot 30, a filly by Magna Grecia (who had his first runner/winner at Saint-Cloud March 23) out of a full sister (winner as a 2-year-old) to Frost Giant  (Suburban Handicap-G1) and Shakeyourbody—dam of Siyoushake 

Recent winners from the sale include Gold Tweet (Cleeve Hurdle Race G2, Prix Hopper G3, third in the Prix Maurice Gillois G1), Loubeisien  (Prix Montenica, second in the Prix Djebel-G3, Prix de Meautry G3, and Prix Seine et Oise-G3), and Samedi Rien (8 wins, third in the Cape Verdi Stakes-G2 at Meydan) and 3-year-old Olkovskha  (second in the Prix Rose de Mai).

The breeze will take place at the conclusion of racing April 26 and will be shown live at www.osarus.com. All videos will be viewable online after the breeze.
