The April 17 second day of under tack previews went off like clockwork with 70-degree temperatures and a light 5 mph breeze at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training. An Irish import by No Nay Never  breezed the fastest quarter-mile of the second session in :20 4/5.

The colt is consigned as Hip 332 by Ciaran Dunne's Wavertree Stables, agent out of the Naas Juvenile Fillies Sprint Stakes (G3) winner Etoile , by War Front  . Full sister to Criterium International (G1) placed and group 3 winner Ancient Rome  and winner of the March 7 Prix de Gournay at Chantilly. Bred by Coolmore, the colt was purchased by Bregman Family Racing during the Arqana Deauville August Yearling Sale last year for $184,683.

Four juveniles breezed the co-fastest furlong in :09 4/5 April 17.

  • Hip 177, a filly from the first crop of sire Flameaway  , named Julias Dream, consigned by Grassroots Training and Sales. Bred in Kentucky by David Soblick, the filly is out of the Meadowlake mare Cinnamon Girl , full sibling to Abby Girl , a multiple grade 1 placed runner. The McKathan's purchased the pinhook last year during the Keeneland September Yearling Sale for $15,000 from Rosilyn Polan.
  • Hip 192, a Twirling Candy   colt out of grade 3 placed Conquest Babayaga , by Uncle Mo  . Consigned by Steven Venosa's S G V Thoroughbreds, the Kentucky-bred colt was a $120,000 RNA at the Keeneland September Sale last year for his breeder St. Elias Stables.
  • Hip 239, a colt named Slider, by Jimmy Creed   out of the stakes placed Congrats  mare Days Like This , producer of Manitoba Derby third Pete Marwick . The bay was bred in Kentucky by Jason Hall, Stephen Baker, Herschel Martindale, and Mike Riordan; this will be his first trip through the sales ring.
  • Hip 299, the Navas Equine consigned Justify   colt out of 2003 Horse of the Year and Champion 3-Year-Old Filly in Puerto Rico D'Wildcat Speed. The Forest Wildcat mare is a grade 1 winner in Puerto Rico and winner of the Rampart Handicap (G2) at Gulfstream Park. The fast mare produced the 2016 England and France Champion Highweighted Filly and 2017 Kentucky Champion Sprinter Lady Aurelia . The Scat Daddy filly won the Prix Morny (G1) at Deauville and King's Stand Stakes (G1) at Ascot. Stonestreet Thoroughbred Holdings bred the juvenile colt in Kentucky, which was sold to III Warrior Stable during the Keeneland September Sale of 2022 for $50,000.

The under tack show continues Tuesday at 8 a.m. ET, with Hips 351-525 scheduled to take to the track. The show will be live-streamed via the OBS website at obssales.com and BloodHorse. The breeze show concludes April 22.

Under tack results and videos are posted on the OBS website and can be viewed on kiosks in the breezeway and the Video Room adjacent to the Horsemen's Lounge. In-room viewing is available at The Courtyard by Marriott, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton.

The first of four days of selling begins April 25 at 10:30 a.m., with Hips 1-306 scheduled to go under the hammer, followed by Hips 307-612 April 26, Hips 613-918 April 27, and Hips 919-1222 April 28.
