Delaware Park Announces 2014 Racing Schedule

The 2014 Delaware Park meet will begin May 17 and extend through Oct. 22, track officials said.
Under an agreement with horsemen, Delaware Park will again offer 81 days of racing this year. The schedule calls for racing three or four days per week.
Live racing programs will be held May 17, 21, 24, 26, and 31. From June 2-Sept. 6, the track will race Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays each week.
The grade I Delaware Handicap is set for July 12 and grade II Delaware Oaks is July 5.
From Sept. 8 through closing day, racing will be held Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. First post time each day is 1:15 p.m. EDT.
