Two juveniles shared the day's fastest furlong workout time of :09 3/5 and another zipped a quarter-mile in :20 2/5 April 21 to top the sixth session of under tack previews at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Spring Sale of 2-Year-Olds in Training.

Hip 967, a bay Into Mischief   colt consigned by Wavertree Stables, and Hip 1012, a chestnut Speightstown   filly consigned by Scanlon Training & Sales, as agent for Bruno deBerdt's Excel Bloodstock, were the fastest workers at an eighth of a mile. Wavertree also consigned the quickest worker over two furlongs, Hip 1024, a dark bay or brown Nyquist   filly.

Hip 967 is out of the multiple stakes-winning Ministers Wild Cat mare Singing Kitty , who was also stakes-placed at the grade 3 level. He is a half brother to Social Dilemma  (Medaglio d'Oro), a winner of more than $186,000.

Last year, the Into Mischief colt was a $300,000 purchase by Red Wings Enterprises from the September Yearling Sale at Keeneland, where Eaton Sales consigned him for breeder Spendthrift Farm.

Hip 1012 is the second foal out of a black-type mare, Spooky Woods  (Ghostzapper  ). The dam placed in the Santa Ysabel Stakes (G3) and another stakes race during her racing career. Her prior foal to race, Spooky Road  (Quality Road  ), is a four-time winner with earnings of more than $146,000.
