Ten years later, trainer Rick Dutrow's name is back in the entries.

Dutrow entered his first horse since 2013 on May 3 when he dropped Prince of Pharoahs  into a $95,000 allowance race May 6 at Belmont Park. The mile race will be the sixth of the day with Prince of Pharoahs breaking from post three with jockey Eric Cancel in a field of seven.

"It feels good," said Dutrow, who had his trainer's license restored earlier this year by the New York State Gaming Commission after serving a 10-year suspension for a string of violations. "It feels real good, man."

Dutrow claimed Prince of Pharoahs for owner Sanford Goldfarb for $45,000 out of a third-place finish in an allowance optional claimer April 7 at Aqueduct Racetrack. The New York-bred son of American Pharoah   has won four of 27 starts with earnings of $327,228. He was victorious in a $32,000 claiming race three starts ago at Aqueduct.

"I'm very happy with the horse, but I don't know if I'll be happy with the competition," Dutrow said. "I'm not feeling nervous now because I think he's doing good. I might feel nervous when he's loading in the gate, but right now I am happy that everyone has a clean slate."

Dutrow won the 2008 Kentucky Derby (G1) and Preakness Stakes (G1) with Big Brown   and the 2005 Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) with Horse of the Year Saint Liam , but after several other violations in his career, one of his horses was found to have traces of painkiller butorphanol in his system after winning a 2010 race at Aqueduct. A search of his barn also turned up three syringes of xylazine, a muscle relaxer and sedative.

High-strung horses are sometimes treated by veterinarians with sedatives before morning training to avoid injury.

As a result, in October 2011, he was fined $50,000 and his license was revoked for 10 years. He went to court to challenge the decision but was not able to have it overturned.

His last start came on Jan. 16, 2013, when Colossal Gift  won a claiming race at Aqueduct.
