Finger Lakes Racetrack to Offer Free Digital Programs

The 31st running of The $100,000 Wadsworth Memorial Handicap

Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack is now providing free digital race-day programs for download.

The programs will be available by 5:30 p.m. (eastern) the day before each scheduled race card. The only exception to that schedule is Monday's program will be available the Wednesday before.

The complimentary programs feature past performances from Equibase and will be available for download on the Finger Lakes website at https://www.fingerlakesgaming.com/racing/free-digital-program.  

"We think it's just another step in growing our horse racing business," said Chris Riegle, the track's president and CEO. "We feel equipping horseplayers with the information to be successful is the key to increasing interest in our racing product."

The racetrack located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State is currently racing Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, first post is 1:15 pm.

Memorial day, May 29, kicks off the 2023 stakes season with the annual running of the $50,000 George W. Barker stakes to be run at 6 furlongs. Flying Emperor won the 2022 edition, and some of the greatest sprinters in track history have won the race, including Finger Lakes Hall of Famers Frattare, Lordofthemountain and Sea Hunter.

Meet highlights include the $150,000 New York Derby on July 17, the New York Oaks on July 24, and the biggest race of the season, the $200,000-added New York Breeders' Futurity, which will be run on Oct. 16.

The 90-day 2023 racing season runs through Nov. 22.
