For the first time since his impressive win in the March 25 Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1), Jerry O'Dwyer trainee Sibelius was back on the work tab, recording a four-furlong move in :45 4/5 over Keeneland's main track May 12.
Assistant trainer Chelsie Raabe said the flashy 5-year-old chestnut gelding is feeling fresh after a couple weeks off and reminisced on his impressive victory.
"He couldn't have had a more perfect trip, and as horsemen it's very rare that a trip goes absolutely perfectly. He was brilliant from the moment he stepped off the trailer," she said.
"He was really happy to come back into training, he's been very fresh and super happy to train. We just had our first work back last Friday. I think he worked a bullet and he seems completely unfazed by his adventures so far."

The talented son of Not This Time is campaigned by Jun Park and Delia Nash. He could be seen next in the June 10 True North Stakes (G2) at Belmont Park, with a general goal of getting to the World Championships toward the end of the year.
"I think we are nominating him for the True North," Raabe said. "We'll let him decide if he's ready to run. I think long term we'd like to get the Breeders' Cup this fall and go on into next year with a happy and healthy horse."
