It's All About the Tail

Description:

With 2015 Kentucky Derby and Preakness champion, American Pharoah, one win away from capturing the Triple Crown, America’s Best Racing today released a spoof music video “It’s All About the Tail” highlighting the racehorse with an inordinately short tail.
Why the short tail? As legend goes, it was nibbled off by pasture mates at McKathan Brothers Farm near Ocala, Florida where American Pharoah resided as a 2-year-old. American Pharoah boasts a career record of 6 wins in 7 starts and has earned $3,730,300.
The Triple Crown is the most difficult trophy to capture in all of sports. It has only happened on 11 occasions, with the last time occurring in 1978. A 3-year-old Thoroughbred must win three races - Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes, each at a different distance – over the span of five weeks. Despite the prodigious odds, the annual quest to capture this coveted crown attracts the hearts and minds of Americans from coast to coast. To date, more than 24 million people have tuned in to NBC Sports’ coverage of the first two legs of the 2014 Triple Crown. With American Pharoah having the opportunity to end the 37-year streak between the last Triple Crown, an expected audience of over 20 million viewers will likely be tuning into NBC Sports to watch the Bemont Stakes on June 6.
Will we witness it in 2015 with American Pharoah?
