Art Collector is the top-ranked American horse in the latest Longines World's Best Racehorse rankings issued June 8.
The rankings cover the period of Jan. 1 to June 4.
The 6-year-old son of Bernardini is ranked 13th with a 121 rating. Art Collector is 1-2-0 in three starts this year with a win in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes (G1). His two seconds came in the New Orleans Classic Stakes (G2) and the Alysheba Stakes (G2).
The next highest-ranked runner from the United States is Elite Power , who with a 120 rating, is 17th.
The top 10 are as follows with rating in parenthesis: Equinox (129), Golden Sixty (125), Lucky Sweynesse (125), Titleholder (124), Ace Impact (123), Luxembourg (123), Romantic Warrior (123), Auguste Rodin (122), Bay Bridge (122), California Spangle (122), Dubai Honour (122), and Ushba Tesoro (122).
