Le Da Vida wins the Lady Jacqueline Stakes

La Da Vida, winless in her last five races dating back to an October 2022 triumph at Keeneland, took home the victory in the $250,000 Lady Jacqueline Stakes at the Thistledown with a decisive 3 1/4-length score over graded stakes winner Interstatedaydream .

The victorious graded-placed daughter of Gemologist  was able to jump ahead in the stretch of both Misty Veil  and Red Hot Lass  after the latter held the early lead for the majority of the 1 1/8-mile dirt contest before she tired to fifth. La de Vida took the lead with an inside attack on the final turn and pulled clear in the race's closing stages. She clocked a time of 1:50.02 on the fast track underneath Vincent Cheminaud.

"She was knocking on the door for a stakes win," trainer Ignacio Correas said. "Vincent rode her great so we are thrilled for him—another stakes win for the year, so that's good."

Finishing a wide second after falling back to last of 10 early was Flurry Racing Stables' Interstatedaydream under Florent Geroux. My Racehorse Stable and Spendthrift Farm's Sixtythreecaliber  ran third beneath Cristian Torres, a half-length behind the runner-up.

La de Vida, owned by Masiava, paid $7.20 to win.
