There was very little movement in this week's National Thoroughbred Racing Association's Top Thoroughbred Poll as two contenders swapping positions in the top 10 was the only change in the standings.
Up to the Mark , who most recently won the Manhattan Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park, moved from six to five in the Week 22 poll and improved his vote total from 137 to 145.
Moving down to six is the gelding by Dialed In , Defunded . Last time out, Defunded won the Hollywood Gold Cup Stakes (G1). In the last 10 days, Defunded has twice returned to the work tab. He went four furlongs in :48 3/5 over the dirt at Santa Anita Park. Defunded lost 11 points in the standings, going from 139 to 128.
Cody's Wish held on to the top spot for the fifth consecutive week.
Among those also receiving votes, Goodnight Olive is holding strong among those outside the top 10. But the biggest change among those outside of the top 10 is Two Phil's , the runner-up in the Kentucky Derby (G1), who won the Ohio Derby (G3) June 24. He went from one vote to 21. However, the day after the Ohio Derby, news broke that an ankle injury would sideline him for the rest of the year.
