Search Results trains last fall at Keeneland

After a close defeat to older female dirt division leader Clairiere  in the June 10 Ogden Phipps Stakes (G1), Search Results  seeks a second consecutive victory in the Molly Pitcher Stakes (G3), a $500,000 race at 1 1/16 miles July 22 at Monmouth Park.

Although winless in four races since last year's Molly Pitcher, when she scampered to a three-length victory, the 5-year-old daughter of Flatter  is in top form. She has twice placed in grade 1s this year in as many starts, finishing third in the La Troienne Stakes (G1) at Churchill Downs May 5 before running second to Clairiere, beaten a half-length, in the Ogden Phipps. 

Joel Rosario rides Saturday for trainer Chad Brown and owner Klaravich Stables.

La Da Vida, Loved , Shotgun Hottie , and Distinctlypossible  head the opposition, with the latter also trained by Brown.

Godolphin's Loved, a 4-year-old daughter of Medaglia d'Oro   and a half sister to grade 1 winner Maxfield  , has won three consecutive races this year against easier rivals by a combined margin of 28 lengths. She makes her first stakes start Saturday for trainer Brendan Walsh, who also conditioned Maxfield before he went to stud at Darley in Kentucky.

Fillies and mares are also in action Saturday at Monmouth in the $300,000 Matchmaker Stakes (G3T), where Brown and Klaravich Stables race Consumer Spending  in the 1 1/8-mile turf race against a short lineup that includes Personal Best , Bipartisanship , and Surprisingly .
