Freshman sire McKinzie had a banner Day 3 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, highlighted when a colt out of Puca commanded $1.2 million from Dottie Ingordo, bidding on behalf of Lee and Susan Searing's CRK Stable. The yearling is a half brother to Kentucky Derby (G1) winner Mage .
Runnymede Farm sold the Grandview Equine-bred yearling.
