Limestone Lab Moving to Doc Lane's Pharmacy Location

Doc Lane's Veterinary Pharmacy, a premier source for custom, compounded, pharmaceutical formulations for horses, pets, exotics, and wildlife, announces Limestone Lab is moving into its Lexington facility.

Limestone Lab is an independent veterinary laboratory in Lexington offering a full range of laboratory diagnostic services for independent veterinarians and their equine patients.

"Limestone Lab needed a new home, and Doc Lane's had an available space in its building that was originally designed for a lab," shares Doc Lane's owner and chief clinical officer Kerry R. Nesbitt, PharmD, BCPS.

"We were overjoyed when Dr. Evan Spencer, director at Limestone Lab, asked us if we had space for them," says James Williams, PharmD, Doc Lane's CEO and pharmacist in charge. "We had been thinking about opening a lab, so it is great that we can bring in an established lab with existing veterinarian clients. The veterinarians, lab, and patients all stand to benefit from this move."

Doc Lane's and Limestone Lab will be located at 101 Venture Court, Suite 125, in an office park near the intersection of Leestown Road and Citation Boulevard, near other equine businesses and creating a collection of veterinary services in one locale.

Williams shares that in late fall, Limestone Lab will be able to receive lab drops 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

"Doc Lane's and Limestone Lab are both locally owned, independent businesses. We see this move as an exciting way to offer the community a convenient means of supporting local business."
