Grandview Equine purchased a colt by Lookin At Lucky   for $120,000 to lead the Sept. 22 session at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale on the next-to-last day of the auction.

The top-selling colt was consigned as Hip 3910 by Hill 'n' Dale at Xalapa. He is the first foal out of the stakes-winning Lea   mare Vast , who hails from the family of stakes performers Sower , Cease , Size , and Mucho . Vast was acquired by Hill n' Dale at Xalapa for $200,000 while carrying the foal that would be Hip 3910 at the 2021 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale from the Claiborne Farm consignment.

Hip 3910's purchase made Grandview Equine the session's leading buyer.

For the day, Keeneland posted sales of $3,110,600 for 190 yearlings, for an average of $16,372 and a median of $11,000. The third-highest price of the day belonged to a Not This Time   filly consigned as Hip 3876 by Lane's End. She is the first foal produced from the stakes-placed Uncle Mo   mare Stetson Gold. West Coast Equine signed the ticket on the filly for $70,000.

Three yearlings, all colts, sold for $60,000 each. Two of the colts were by first-crop sires Complexity   and Vekoma  , while the other was sired by Temple City  .

Taylor Made Sales Agency led all consignors with sales of $459,000 for 24 horses.
