Corfu, who set a stakes record in the 2013 Saratoga Special (gr. II), has been retired from racing and will stand the 2014 breeding season at John & Leslie Malone's Bridlewood Farm in Ocala, Fla.
Top juvenile for successful sire Malibu Moon last year, the colt enters stud for an introductory fee of $3,500, stands and nurses, and is available immediately for inspection at Bridlewood upon appointment.

Bred in Kentucky by AGS Thoroughbreds, Corfu sold for $185,000 to Breaking Point Farm when consigned by Gainesway at the 2012 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky select yearling sale, and was a leading 2-year-old both in the sales ring and on the racetrack in 2013. He topped the Barretts March Select Sale for 2-year-olds in training, commanding $675,000 from Demi O'Byrne after breezing a quarter of a mile in :20 4/5 seconds.
Corfu was conditioned by Todd Pletcher for Susan Magnier, Michael Tabor, and Derrick Smith, and impressively broke his maiden in July at first asking at Saratoga Race Course in :58.27 in a five-furlong maiden special weight.
Coming back just 17 days later, Corfu led at every call to score his biggest career win in the Saratoga Special in a dazzling 1:15.57 for the 6 1/2-furlong event contested at that distance since 1994.
Corfu was also runner-up in the Futurity S. (gr. II) at Belmont Park in September after setting a blazing opening half-mile in :44 3/5 seconds. He retires after a fifth in the Nov. 16 James F. Lewis III Stakes and a sixth in the Jan. 4 Spectacular Bid Stakes with earnings of $214,200 earned in two wins and a second from six starts.
Corfu is out of the Forest Wildcat mare Fashion Cat, a half sister to the three-time grade I-winning Florida-bred Peace Rules, who earned more than $3 million.
