A tremendous selection of 50 outstanding horses and broodmares have been cataloged for the Ohio Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Sale Oct. 18 at Hollywood Gaming Mahoning Valley Race Course, beginning at 2 p.m. ET.
This year's catalog features 22 yearlings, 12 broodmares, 11 weanlings, and four juveniles. Horse of Racing Age nominations will be accepted until Oct. 10.
Ohio stallions represented include Callide Valley, Corfu , Da Big Hoss , Drill , Dynamic Racer , Flagship, Itsmyluckyday , Kennedy, Medal Count , One Sided , Sky Kingdom , Tidal Volume , and Williams Kitten.
There are 11 Ohio-bred weanlings and 22 Ohio-bred yearlings cataloged.
Horses will be stabled and can be viewed in the receiving barn. Previews begin at noon Oct.17 until 5 p.m. and then from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 18. Complimentary coffee and donuts will be available until they run out Wednesday morning in the receiving barn.
The sale will be conducted in the Winner's Circle. Please register with the auctioneer on sight in the lower grandstand to receive a bidder's number.
Refreshments will be available in the lower grandstand for purchase on the afternoon of the sale.
