Everyone remembers the Budweiser Clydesdales commercial from last year’s Super Bowl that really tugged at the heartstrings, but some of you might not remember the hysterical Super Bowl ad from 2008 that featured NBA basketball player Shaquille O’Neal competing as a jockey in a horse race.
San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who competed in the Super Bowl in 2013, remembers the Shaq ad quite fondly. In an interview with Ad Age, Kaepernick was asked about his favorite Super Bowl ad. Kaepernick said, “There was one that I remember that made me laugh so hard. It was with Shaq, when he was racing a horse and he leans over the horse to win the race.”
